Lighten-Up – - Life is good
Do you have a Life is good t-shirt? Have you ever been inside a Life is good store? Read the Life is good story here.
Something about Jake’s grin makes me smile and instantly feel better.
Last month we spent a week at the beach with our son and his family on Hilton Head Island. While you can find Life is good t-shirts many places, there is nothing like an entire store devoted to Jake and all his products. We all bought t-shirts and other items.
I also bought a simple Life is good logo in the form of a flexible magnet and it is on the small white board that I see every time I come into our home via the garage. I smile; life is good.
What if you smiled more around your office? I meet and interact with thousands of CPAs every year. A good number of them do not smile much (or quickly).
Here’s an idea….. buy a Life is good magnet for your entire team. Have a Life is good lunch session and facilitate a group discussion about WHY Life is good. Make it fun and even silly. Give prizes.
Why? Research shows that who you surround yourself with drives your behavior. Hang-out with a bunch of Eeyores and you become one. It’s better to hang out with Jake and realize that Life really is good.
