Friday Thoughts

“I love to be alone. I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude.” – Henry David Thoreau

If you are a follower of this blog, you probably know by now that I am an avid reader. One of the few good things about 2020 is that it has provided me with more time to read.

This morning I read this passage in a novel:

By temperament, he was a loner, if only because, although never wholly content in the solitary state, he was almost invariably even more miserable in the company of others.

This might describe one or two of the partners in your firm as it relates to the marketing director’s on-going challenge in trying to get them to participate in networking and marketing activities.

Have a nice weekend.
