Here is something I used years ago when I was working inside a busy CPA firm.
It might make you smile but maybe you could modify it to fit your firm.
CPA Firm Ten Commandments
- Thou shall “Wow” clients
- Thou shall not be bigger than the firm
- Thou shall covet thy competitors’ clients
- Thou shall value bill
- Thou shall make collection calls
- Thou shall meet revenue goals
- Thou shall work smarter – not harder
- Thou shall not kill the internal tech guys
- Thou shall eliminate procrastinating clients
- Thou shall turn in schedules weekly, time daily, and “in/out” hourly
- "Create like a god, command like a king, work like a slave."
